Nepal Health Corps, Nepalgunj Medical College has successfully conducted "Project Sparsha, A Touch of Love" themed comprehensive and multidisciplinary geriatric and pediatric health camp at Neelsagar Sewashram, Nepalgunj in coordination with Nepalgunj Medical College Department of Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology and ENT with logistics support from Department of Surgery and Gyanecology on 14th Shrawan, 2022.
Our key target beneficiary group comprised of a total of 104 elderly and children.
Major activities of Project Sparsh:
- History, general physical examination and vitals for elderly and children (Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, ENT)
- Screening for Hypertension in elderly
- Eye screening with provision of referral for free cataract surgery
- Distribution of free medication for common health problems
- Promotive and preventive health awareness program
- Referral and provision of concession for further investigations and management to Nepalgunj Medical College.
